First Day of December and MLB Is Already Winning Twitter

Professional sports have caught up with social media and any team not having fun is just doing it wrong.

Major League baseball just started an excellent Twitter thread that will brighten your day if you need it. It began with a happy greeting and an Anthony Rizzo grinning gif…

…then the Indians…

…and the Red Sox…

…and then…

…it took on a life of its own.

Braves

Phillies

Tigers

Diamondbacks

Padres

Rockies. They were late, apparently…

…but had a decent excuse.

The DBacks allowed it.

Hey Blue Jays…

…welcome to the party.

…and the Defending NL Champs

[UPDATED]

The Cubs had thoughts…

…to which MLB happily replied.

We’ll update this post as more teams jump in on the thread. For more, follow along on Facebook and Twitter
