Today’s Movember matchup is our first animated one, but also a pair of Emmy winners. Ned Flanders has been on the air with The Simpsons for 26 years, adding as many “okelys” and “iddlys” as he can every episode. Bob’s Burgers is just 4 years young, but their specials are something to look forward to each week.
Lucky for us, we get both mustaches on the same channel and back-to-back on Sunday nights.
The Movember Matchups return this week with a trip to the race track. In case you you’ve missed it, we’ve helped in spreading awareness for Men’s health issues (including prostate and testicular cancer) by pitting famous mustaches against each other.
Today it’s “The King” vs. “The Intimidator”. Richard Petty and Dale Earnhardt are tied for the all-time record in Winston Cup/NASCAR Championships with 7. Both were also inducted as part of the inaugural NASCAR Hall of Fame class in 2010.
Today we go to a film that oozes with testosterone, muscles…and some fine mustache game.
There are stories about about Carl Weathers and Jesse Ventura sizing each other up on the set of Predator along with Arnold Schwarzenegger, trying to see whose biceps were bigger.
(Who would’ve thunk two governors would be elected from this movie?)
While neither made it out of the film alive, it’s finally time to settle the score between Apollo Creed and “The Body”!

One has a Super Bowl ring, and the other wears three Stanley Cup rings. One owns a race horse and the other has a restaurant chain, wine, and even Bloody Mary mix named after him. They both played their respective sports and neither will be paying for a meal in Chicago ever again.
